Fleet Street Hotel
NODA were contracted to design and refurbish the new public areas in The Fleet Street Hotel. The hotel was built in the 1850’s so it was important to hold on to the original listed features and incorporate them into the new elegant design. The Bewley’s Rooms historically were very important in terms of the Irish social scene at that time and we wanted the interior to evoke the warmth and grandeur of that era.
The renovation included a complete refurbishment of the ground floor where by we moved the reception desk and lobby/seating area from the first floor to the ground floor This now offers a welcoming space and gives the hotel more of a presence on Fleet Street. The old basement nightclub was transformed into a new bright spacious breakfast dining area and business centre. We also refurbished the old original bar into the new Café 1920’s bar and restaurant.
